A Day With Bernie is based on the Little Creatures characters by artist Emma Klingbeil LaPine

A Day With Bernie is geared towards very young, pre readers and the guardians who will purchase them to read to these children. A children’s book with short simple messages, complimented by intriguing characters, like Tickles the Octopus, that will keep children turning the pages for more.

Emma Klingbeil LaPine is a Wisconsin based artist. She studied fine art through MCAD, Minneapolis, MN and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for graphic design and fine art.

Her “Little Creatures” characters were established in 2007
